Early morning, we had our breakfast in the hotel before heading out to Pratunam Market and Platinum Mall for shopping. It was pretty tiring to shop when I do not have enough sleep.
We started to feel bad when the guys have to wait for us few hrs as there are not much guy apparels for them to shop. Spent 4hrs again for our shopping but we didn't covered finish Platinum Mall.
It was disappointing for Platinum Mall as the price increased and some apparels can cost the same price as Singapore. At the end of the shopping, most of my apparels were bought from Pratunam Market instead. You can still get apparels at 150-200baht in Pratunam Market but as usual you will need to purchase 2-3 pieces to get the wholesales price.
After 4hrs of shopping, we went up to Platinum Mall food court to meet the guys and had our late lunch. The food court have good Mango Sticky Rice which is a must to eat in Bangkok.

Tapioca, it didn't taste that good for this. |
We were suppose to visit Chinatown but one of the taxi driver told us it is close due to Makha Pucha Day and persuaded us to visit other places. Somehow, we felt weird about it and so we decided to change our plans by taking the train instead of taxi.
We checked with the customer service in the train station and realize that Chinatown is still operating as usual however we decided to visit Asiatique instead. Asiatique is quite a new and beautiful mall beside the river with shopping and dining places as well. You will need to take the free shuttle boat service to get to Asiatique.
Arriving at Asiatique, we settled down at Ko Dang Talay restaurant to have our dinner and it was a sumptuous meal although being slightly pricier than all the food we had previously.
The tom yum soup was really spicy but all the food we ordered taste really good. We had our dinner as fast as possible so that we could have some shopping and catch the last shuttle boat service back to train station.
