Bangkok - Day 3

Bangkok - Day 3 (24-27Feb2013)

Woke up early as usual for my overseas trip and we decided to shop our own so that the guys will not have to wait for us while doing nothing.
We managed to cover the rest of the Platinum Mall within 2hrs but sadly, Platinum Mall really not worth to visit these days since the pricing had already went up.

We then took a cab to Siam Paragon to meet the guys for lunch as both of us were really lazy.
Then we settled down at Taling Pling restaurant which was one of the recommend restaurant for Thai food.
I had my favorite Thai dishes - Green curry.

Cakes and desserts are the best always, it makes me happy! I can just have them for my lunch and dinner.
Therefore, we make a visit to Mr Jone's Orphanage and just by seeing their cakes made me drool. Its really tempting especially those that are chocolate in flavor.
The greedy us couldn't decide on the flavor that we want to try so both of us ordered 3 slices of different flavors. It taste damn good and I am gonna eat there again when I visit Bangkok.

Look delicious right?!

After desserts, we went on to shop around Siam and I spent a lot in Naraya which is a good place to get souvenirs for your friends. Around late afternoon, we walked to Siam night market for shopping and I love shopping there as well. Most importantly, apparels are not so expensive there compared to Platinum Mall.

It was the last night in Bangkok so I planned with Annie to meet the last time.
We had a big feast at T&K Seafood in Chinatown which was being recommended. It was too packed so we went up to the 2nd level for seats however its pretty scary eating there when I have to worries if there are any small cockroaches crawling near to me.

The food taste good and its really cheap but I will rather choose to visit other restaurant than eating not in peace. Therefore, better have your seats on 1st level instead of 2nd level.
We were really full after having our big feast dinner.

Before you leave Chinatown, don't forget to get all the Thailand snacks from Lin Zhen Xiang. I love their crispy sliced pork!
After buying all the snacks, Annie brought us to have some drinks at the bar and then we had our foot massage again! It's really cheap for massage in Bangkok and you will feel great to have a massage after a long day of shopping.

It was pretty late after we had our massage and we decided to head back to our hotel as we will need to pack our luggage for checking out the next day.
