Woke up early today and walked to the tram station to get up to The Peak, it's really quite convenience to stay in Central where we can get good food and travel around just that it might be quiet at night as surrounding are mostly office buildings.
It's pretty scary taking the tram up as the slope is really steep but it will be faster compare to bus and taxi. Probably you won't be that dizzy as well since going up by bus and taxi will require to turn rounds and rounds.
After arriving at The Peak, we went up to Sky Terrace 428 which we purchased the ticket together at the tram station earlier on. It's worth paying the entrance fee for Sky Terrace 428 to capture a good scenery view.
Thanks to this friendly couple who helped us to take photo. |
Finally we settled down at Mak's Noodle 麥奀雲吞麵世家 for our lunch in The Peak Galleria mall after all the photo takings.
Mak's Noodle was being recommended as one of the best wanton noodle in Hong Kong so I decided to give it a try. HK version are soup based and so I still preferred the SG version of wanton noodle.
Excited seeing so many cute dogs. |
Went into The Peak Galleria mall and saw the famous Tai Cheong bakery shop, without considering I got their egg tarts to try out so that to decide whether I should buy home on the last day.
I love egg tarts, and this was really delicious! I even went back to bought another piece after one bite.
Although I always prefer the portuguese version as I find it more tastier but Tai Cheong egg tarts taste great as well!
Time for shopping after all the foods!
My relative recommended me to shop at 花園街 Fa Yuen Street first before heading to MongKok.
It was really a great shopping place, and most importantly it's cheaper compared to SG.
I spent almost 3hrs shopping around before my early dinner at 香港仔魚蛋粉 which my relative brought me there.
The food taste good as well, if you did pass by this restaurant you can give it a try.
I love having 魚蛋粉 Fish Balls Soup Noodle for my meals because of the nice soup and especially that it looks healthy. It taste different from SG Fish Balls Noodle.
After dinner, we went to buy some pastry from 奇趣餅家 Kee Tsui Cake Shop that my relative recommended as it was quite an old stall that is popular among the locals.
I bought the popular glutinous rice cake with red bean filling and banana kueh to try.
Then I went to 金華冰廳 Kam Wah Cafe which was nearby to get polo bun as it was being review for having the best in HK.
Next - 旺角中心 Argyle Centre for shopping again!
I really love shopping at there when I see stuffs that is cheaper and have better designs than what Far East Plaza or Bugis Street sells.
However don't expect to be much difference, most of the clothes are cheaper by $2-3.
Really great to have my cousin to shop with me however after shopping for so many hours, its really time for next stop. My cousin went home while dear and I left to Tsim Sha Tsui for night scenery view.
The night view there is just like we are in Marina Bay Sand.
After taking few photos, we went to walk around and finally found 糖潮 Sweet Dynasty to have our supper!
Dim sum and desserts which are both famous in Hong Kong are both my favorites, therefore is a must to eat whenever I am there.
Ordered quite many dishes and was really full since I had already eaten quite a few meals.
At last when we finished our supper, both of us were really tired and so we took a cab back to our hotel.
