First place to visit will be 莲香楼 Lin Heung Teahouse for our dim sum breakfast~
It was being recommended for having good dim sum in Hong Kong however it's not a good place if you do not know how to speak cantonese. The dim sum is served traditionally where the staffs will be pushing the cart around with all different varieties. Not only is difficult to communicate to them what you want, you must also be fast to grab the dim sum when they just started to push out as it was quite crowded when I was there around 12pm.
In the end, we randomly picked a few basket of dim sum to try out but sadly none of it are my favorite dim sum. We couldn't stand the chaotic in the restaurant and couldn't get what we will like to have so we decided to make a move. Not forgetting, you have to share seats with other customers as well.
Next stop, we went to Causeway Bay for window shopping follow by having some desserts before we continue with shopping.
Bought mango desserts from Hui Lau Shan before heading to my usual desserts place - Lucky Dessert.
I prefer the outlet in Mongkok, it seems to taste better than Causeway Bay outlet.
The next time in Hong Kong, I am sure I will try those popular desserts shop to satisfy my sweet tooth craving.
After desserts, we went to Fa Yuen Street again for shopping although I bought more clothes but regretted for not visiting Ocean Park instead.
We were hungry after all the shopping and decided to find a restaurant nearby for our dinner and so we settled down at Homemade dim sum restaurant.
Ordered my usual favorite dishes and "Har Gao" turn out tasting not bad, actually I realize most of the dim sum I ate have really fresh and big prawns. |
We carried on shopping at Argyle Centre before heading back to hotel.
